The story of the poor old woman who did not consider it appropriate to ask from anyone

Once upon a time, there was an old lady who lived alone in a small town. She was very poor and had to scrape by with whatever money she had. She was very proud and didn't think it was appropriate to ask anyone for help, despite her situation.

Every day she would wake up early and begin her day with a prayer. She would then spend her time making stew for her meager lunch and dinner. She would save the leftovers for the next day.

One day, as she was walking through town, she noticed a sign outside a bakery that said "free bread to those in need". She was tempted to go in and ask for some, but her pride kept her from doing so. She went home without any bread, feeling embarrassed and ashamed.

The next day, she encountered the same sign. This time, she decided to take a chance. She went inside and asked for some bread. The baker, who was a kind man, gladly gave her some. She thanked him and went home with a smile on her face.

From then on, she would go to the bakery every morning and ask for free bread. The baker never refused her and always welcomed her with a warm smile.

The old lady was so grateful for the bakery's kindness and generosity. It made her feel like she wasn't so alone in the world. Even though she was poor, she was still able to get the basic necessities she needed.

The old lady never forgot the kindness of the bakery and always remembered to be grateful for what she had.
